Puppies are 2 1/2 Weeks Old.....

In the first 14 days of their lives we are introducing the pups to the neonatal period of the Puppy Culture program. During this phase some of the things the puppies are exposed to are more touching and stroking, introduction of a sleep nest and we have introduced a pee pad just outside the sleep nest. The puppies are weighed daily and their progress is charted. Coco gets Mother's Pudding and goat's milk every day.

Coco is a great mother. She allows us to hold and stroke the puppies. Often she sees this as her opportunity for some fresh air. We hold each puppy individually for a few minutes each day.
